Today, Purolator made the exciting announcement that it has acquired Williams PharmaLogistics. This investment represents a significant step forward for Purolator to enter one of the fastest-growing segments in the transportation market by gaining capabilities in temperature-controlled services. It also aligns with Purolator’s vision to make Canada stronger and to make a difference in Canada’s growing healthcare market, while offering greater choice to current and future customers.

What does this mean to you? We hope the following will address any immediate questions you may have:
 

• Operations: Purolator’s investment will allow Williams PharmaLogistics to build scale in the delivery of our door-to-door temperature-controlled services by expanding our capabilities and network to better serve our customers. 
• Commitment to quality: Both companies are dedicated to delivering industry leading quality, exceptional service, and innovative transportation solutions. This will remain unchanged. Each organization will build on their respective strengths while starting to identify the best path forward to invest in new capabilities that will benefit and deliver value to customers, now and in the future.

It will be business as usual for both companies as each continues to drive their respective business forward to serve the needs of our customers. Williams PharmaLogistics will independently operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Purolator with its current leadership team managing the day-to-day operations and maintaining responsibility for our customer relationships. Jo-Ann and I will support the business for an interim period to ensure the successful transition of ownership of Williams PharmaLogistics to Purolator.
