Allison Chan, Manager, Member Services and Events

Allison Chan joined the Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution Management in November 1999. Prior to this, she graduated from Kensington College of Business, U.K. and worked for several years in a wholesaler/distributor company, specializing in project management and trade show organization. Allison is responsible for financial, events and membership management for CAPDM.

Daniel Chiasson, President & CEO

Daniel works with the CAPDM Board of Directors to strengthen the association’s position as the authoritative voice representing Canada’s pharmacy supply chain. He is an advocate for CAPDM from coast to coast on government and regulatory issues that impact its membership. Daniel leads a CAPDM team that deliver premium member services and foster member engagement.
 

Daniel is a senior executive with supply chain expertise and proven leadership in driving growth, profitability, and collaboration within the healthcare and food & beverage industry sectors. Prior to joining CAPDM, Daniel served as Vice President, Supply Solutions at McKesson Canada. Daniel has held senior executive roles at Shoppers Drug Mart, Cardinal Health Canada and MDS Inc.

Daniel holds a Master of Business Administration degree, from the Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario, and a B. Mgmt. Sc., from the University of Ottawa.

Terri Drover, Senior Vice President, Stakeholder Engagement

Terri started her career in healthcare, running primary, secondary and tertiary health care facilities in Canada.  She joined Proctor and Gamble in the US in a research role with their newly acquired pharmaceutical division, Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals.  After transferring back to Canada with P&G to set up a similar division, she joined Apotex, the largest Canadian generic pharmaceutical company to establish a similar Drug Information and Adverse Event Reporting division.  While at Apotex, Terri not only set up a new division for Apotex but was awarded the only accreditation status in Canada for a manufacturer-run DI service.

She went on to join the sales team at Apotex, rising to an executive position before leaving to establish a new Pharmacy Relations Division at Wyeth Pharmaceuticals.  While at Wyeth, Terri managed to increase the Pharmacy Relations score at the Advantage Group Survey from 15th to a fifth rank position within the industry.

From there, Terri joined Sandoz in Montreal where she lead the Sale and Marketing Divisions.  Prior to taking on the Chief Commercial Officer position at TH!NK BI, Terri was responsible for the Generic Division at IMS Brogan; re-establishing IMS Brogan in the generic space.

Janet Warda, Administrative Assistant

Janet Warda is CAPDM's Administrative Assistant. Janet previously worked as an administrative assistant for a computer software reseller. She also worked for a national shoe and accessory retailer as a merchandiser and sales representative. Her cumulative experience has allowed her to perfect her skills in customer service and organization.
