Global Trends and Issues Affecting the Pharmaceutical Wholesale Sector

The industry trends and issues affecting pharmaceutical wholesalers today transcend geographic and market boundaries, with similar challenges facing drug distributors in many markets across the globe.  From continuing supply chain disruptions to shortages to geopolitical tensions to the use of Artificial Intelligence, businesses around the world are navigating common developments which affect how they do business.  In addition, sustainability - including improving pharma’s environmental footprint - and opportunities to contribute in the global health world to improve health equity are topics of growing importance.

This webinar will examine some of these issues and the associated programs and activities of the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (IFPW) that attempt to address them.  IFPW is the global umbrella trade association for the pharmaceutical distribution industry with 42 members around the world.  CAPDM is currently an Association member of IFPW.
