CAPDM Member Kuehne + Nagel expands pharmaceutical logistics services in Canada

Mississauga / Ontario, April 5, 2017 – Kuehne + Nagel, one of the leading global logistics companies, announces the expansion of its KN PharmaChain network now offering temperature-controlled logistics services in its Mississauga, Ontario facility, located close to Toronto Airport. Kuehne + Nagel Canada continues to invest in its logistics solutions, facilities and systems specifically for the growing pharmaceutical market in Canada.
The newly established, 3,000 square foot cool zone space, fully validated and GxP compliant temperature controlled located within an existing bonded Kuehne + Nagel 30,000 square warehouse. This space is dedicated to support the storage and shipping of temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products in a secure and validated environment.
Facility features include cold storage from 15-25 Celsius, ambient and CBSA (Canada Border Service Agency) bonded storage, plus 24/7/365 sensor monitoring for web-based and condition of temperature-sensitive shipments fully compliant with all the applicable Health Canada regulations.
Customers will also have access to the full suite of KN PharmaChain airfreight services including full airline pallet loading and unloading, cross-docking, transit storage, staging of loads, and building temperature controlled consolidations.
