Meet Will Falk, B.Sc., MPPM
 
A Canadian digital health pioneer will examine the road ahead…
Will Falk has spent over 25 years as a healthcare strategist and advisor in New York and Toronto to top academic centres, governments, and innovative companies. A retired PwC partner, he led their healthcare practice for over 5 years. Today he is an Adjunct Professor at the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto and a Senior Fellow at the CD Howe Institute.
 
Mr. Falk splits his time since retiring from PwC among several organizations that are trying to improve healthcare through policy and digital innovation. He is an Executive in Residence with Think Research working with the executive team to develop clinical knowledge management solutions. He serves as a Board Advisor at AlayaCare and an Innovation Fellow at Women’s College Hospital (WIHV).

Will is an active community volunteer and advocate. He currently sits on the Boards of the AMS Foundation and West Neighbourhood House. He was on the Boards of ICES, the William Osler Health System, and the Children's Aid Foundation. He was a member of the Premier’s Expert Panel on Adoption & Infertility. He has advised the Harper & Martin governments on healthcare policy -- PM Martin at the 2004 First Ministers Meeting and The as the External Advisor to the Strategic Review of Health Canada in 2008. He has been a foster parent and is active in child welfare causes. He was a member of the Ministry negotiating team for the 2012 physician fee negotiations in Ontario.

Will was a partner with APM/CSC, Capgemini, Accenture and PwC, advising dozens of clients, government and innovative companies working in the realm of academic medicine and hospital systems. Will received his B.Sc. from the University of Toronto (Trinity College) and an M.P.P.M. from Yale University’s School of Management where he was later a Visiting Research Fellow.
