About Membership Membership Categories Who We Are What We Do For You The Industry Membership Board of Directors Our Staff Vision Membership Categories CAPDM's membership is representative of all pharmacy supply chain industry trading partners which fall under the categories of: Primary Wholesaler Full-service wholesaler/distributor of pharmaceutical, over the counter (OTC), and other pharmacy related products to the retail trade at large, hospitals, or similar institutions. Other Distributor Classes Self-Distributing Pharmacy Chain An entity which owns, operates and/or franchises a minimum of thirty (30) retail stores engaged in the business of selling pharmaceutical products, sundries, health and beauty aids to the public with at least one distribution centre. Specialized Distributor A licensed wholesaler whose primary business is the orderly distribution of a limited category of pharmaceutical products to the retail trade at large, hospitals, or similar institutions. Associate Member Classes Manufacturer Manufactures pharmaceutical, OTC, and other pharmacy related products for sale to wholesalers distributors, retail, corporate, institutional or hospital accounts. Afilliated Member/Service Provider Supplies services to the pharmaceutical industry or to pharmacy wholesalers/distributors.
