On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Staff, I welcome you to CAPDM's website.
The Canadian Association for Pharmacy Distribution Management (CAPDM) represents the broadest spectrum of stakeholders within the Canadian pharmacy supply chain. We are both a resource and an advocacy voice for our Members.
Ultimately, our goal is to advance the consolidated pharmacy distribution system as an integral component of a safe, secure and efficient delivery system for patient health care in Canada.
Our Association supports the membership and the globally-recognized Canadian pharmacy supply chain by meeting regularly with key stakeholders and government regulators to profile the value and contribution of the pharmacy supply chain and to help form the conditions to ensure the maximum efficiency of this essential link in the healthcare system.
Through CAPDM Committees such as Customer Service, Government & Public Policy, Returns, and Safe & Secure Supply Chain, the Association brings together representatives from across the pharmacy supply chain to meet and work on key issues. These dedicated committees produce leading and best practices and establish positions at both the strategic and tactical level that establish standards for the industry, encourage discussions with stakeholders and government jurisdictions on key industry concerns, and are the essential building blocks to the development of industry-wide, economically viable solutions.
CAPDM has an established record of gold-standard conferences and industry forums. Through these events CAPDM members are exposed to industry leaders and stakeholders sharing leading-edge data and opinions on current issues, trends and developments thereby strengthening CAPDM, its members, the safety, security and efficiency of the pharmacy supply chain, and the healthcare of Canadians.
